Manon Sander is an internationally-recognized, award-winning contemporary impressionist. She was born and raised in Berlin, Germany, and now resides in Southern Florida – which, with its glistening waters, presents a cornucopia of inspiration. To Manon, more important than the subject matter itself is her goal of capturing the effects of light and the feeling it evokes, expressing it through interesting patterns, luminous color, and juicy brush strokes.
Manon frequently participates and exhibits in juried and invitational shows and plein air events. Her works are in private collections on three continents and have been published in the likes of American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, and Plein Air Magazine. Her work was recently selected for the cover of Modern Impressionist Magazine, which also included a feature about Manon’s artistic journey.
Manon is a sought-after instructor, teaching national and international workshops. She hosts popular artists retreats in beautiful countries like France, Italy, and Portugal. Her work is represented by Gallery on Park, Lost Art Gallery, and High Tide Gallery.
