Collection: Joseph Gyurcsak
Joseph Gyurcsak is a nationally-acclaimed fine artist. Joe paints a broad range of subject matter including interiors, still life, figure and landscapes. He has a keen sense for capturing the essence of his subject matter with a bold and candid approach. Joe started his education at the Parsons School of Design and went on to Kean University, The School of Visual Arts, and finally, the Johnson Atelier Sculpture Foundation. He’s since continued his studies through workshops with many masters of art. Joe exhibits in galleries across the country and his award-winning paintings continue to pique the interest of collectors nationwide.
Joe prides himself on how his paintings express a sense of light, atmosphere and mood. How they transcend the techniques that were employed to create them and breathe the very light and atmosphere they were painted in. He likes to capture the fleeting moments of life; the sublime manifestations of light and color, and their aesthetic influences on the subject.
Joe is the Resident Artist / Brand Manager for Blick / Utrecht Art Supplies. He is author of painting articles, instructor, and juror and art materials expert. Joe also travels extensively conducting lectures, painting demonstrations and workshops at major art institutions throughout the United States.
Joe is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society, the International Society of Acrylic Painters, and Oil Painters of America.
His work is represented at Gallery on Park, Artful Deposit, the Edward Montgomery Gallery, Hagan Fine Art Gallery, and Troika Gallery of Fine Art.
